Ordering from the store

Measure the rug and note the floor type, then order the roll from the store to our warehouse with your box number. If the store declines your card, send the link and we buy for you at an 8% commission on the roll price.

Checking at our warehouse

We open the roll to confirm the stated width and thickness, check the material for a strong rubber smell, and photograph the edges.

Weight and price

Rolls are light but bulky; a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) has a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars, customs excluded, and long rolls are priced after measuring.

Use and care

Cut the pad about 2 cm smaller than the rug on each side so it stays hidden, and clean the floor before laying it.

Thickness, material and cutting

Rug pads from Turkey come as rolls of rubber mesh, felt or a mix of both, cut to size under the rug. Ask about the thickness in millimetres, whether the material is safe on tile or parquet without leaving marks, the roll width, and whether it can be cut with scissors.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the rolls are compressed, wrapped in plastic and reach Syria overland in about two weeks. Jordan: Jordan is by road, with the rolls reaching Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, or by sea when the rolls are large. Carpet and rug shops receive a separate offer for quantities.
