Buying graters from a Turkish store

How graters reach Syria

The parcel goes by road to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama in about two weeks after consolidation. Inspect the blades when they reach the warehouse and check the covers are intact before the carton is sealed.

Carton price

The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded. Graters are light, so add them to cutting boards and kitchen tools in one carton to cut the cost.

Corers and stainless steel

Zucchini and aubergine corers suit stuffed vegetables and come in several sizes. Ask for rust-free steel, a non-slip base and a hand guard with sharp slicers. Check your country’s rules on commercial quantities before ordering.

Blade type and hand safety

Graters range from multi-sided box graters and fine flat planes to hand slicers and zucchini corers. Choose rust-free stainless steel, make sure the base is non-slip and a hand guard is included. Blades travel covered or in rigid cardboard so they cannot cut through the packaging in transit.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and graters are light, so they ride in one carton with other kitchen tools. Jordan: land or sea depending on quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, which suits small, light pieces.
