How the swing reaches Syria

Parcels cross by road to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama in about two weeks. Open the carton at hand-over and count the bolts and metal pieces before you begin assembly.

Price of a flat carton

The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded. A large swing stand is priced on its weight and volume and confirmed before departure.

Weather and upkeep

Cover the seat in winter or bring it indoors, and check the bolts every season because vibration loosens them. A metal frame near the sea can rust, so choose a rust-resistant coating.

Load and mounting before ordering

Garden swings include the canopied swing bench for three and the rattan hanging egg chair with its metal stand. Confirm the maximum load in kilograms and how it mounts, on a free-standing frame or from a ceiling hook. Measure the height and the clear space around it, because swinging needs more room than the seat itself, and ask for the stand assembly instructions.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, with the swing arriving unassembled in a flat carton. Jordan: land or sea depending on quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: the metal stand is heavy and bulky, so it is priced on whichever is greater, weight or volume, and sea suits most large orders.
