How the set reaches Syria

The dismantled parts go overland to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama in about two weeks. Count the pieces and cushions against the store list on receipt.

Pricing large furniture

A set is bulky so it is priced by volume. The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded, and a set usually fills several cartons.

Protecting frame and cushions

Metal ends are wrapped in foam and cushions go in moisture-proof bags. Hotels ordering in quantity get a separate quote.

Weather resistance before ordering

Garden furniture includes synthetic rattan seating sets, aluminium chairs and tables, swings and timber benches. Look at how well the frame resists rust and sun, and whether the cushions are washable and come with protective covers. Ask whether the pieces assemble with the supplied keys or need a separate toolkit, since flat-packed furniture is lighter and cheaper to ship.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, with the set taken apart and the metal parts strapped together. Jordan: land or sea, and sea suits a full set best, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days for small pieces only, while a full set is priced by volume and is better sent by sea. Hotels and resorts furnishing gardens get a separate quote.
