Ordering an electric blanket from a Turkish store

How the blanket reaches Syria

The shipment moves by road and reaches the main cities after about two weeks, delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Check the cable and the controller at handover and photograph any damage before signing.

Size and a reference price

The blanket compresses and takes only part of the carton. The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded.

Packing

The blanket is folded gently without hard pressure on the wires and sealed in a bag against damp. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Voltage and sizes before ordering

An electric blanket runs on a set voltage, and home voltage in the delivery country may differ from Turkey’s, so ask before paying. Pick a size for a single or double bed and a controller with several heat levels, and avoid sharp folding in the parcel because the inner wires wear at hard creases.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the land route in roughly two weeks, with the blanket delivered in the main cities and priced by compressed volume rather than weight. Jordan: land or sea by quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, with sea fitting winter sales batches. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, where demand for heating is lower so quantities are usually small. Trade quantities have their own quote for each country.
