How mats reach Syria

The parcel travels by road and arrives after about two weeks, then is delivered in the main cities. At handover, open the carton, check the backing, edges and size, and photograph any defect before signing.

Weight and a reference price

A cotton mat is light and a rubber mat is heavy, and the price follows volume or weight, whichever is greater. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) carries a reference price of 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded.

Packing

Cotton mats are rolled and rubber ones lie flat without folding. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Material and backing before choosing a mat

A heavy rubber mat suits an outside entrance and handles mud, while cotton and printed mats suit indoors and go in the washing machine. Check for a non-slip backing and measure the gap under the door so the mat does not catch when it opens. Bathroom and kitchen mats are thinner and absorbent.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, where cotton mats can be rolled to save space while rubber ones lie flat and add weight. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and sea suits several rubber mats in a larger order when time allows. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, which suits a light cotton mat better than a rubber one. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
