How a dollhouse reaches Syria

The parcel takes the land route and arrives after about two weeks, delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. At handover, count the pieces and miniature furniture, inspect the panels and paint, and photograph any breakage before you sign.

Volume and a reference price

A dollhouse takes a lot of volume for its weight, so volume sets the price. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) carries a reference price from 15 to 20 dollars by region, while large houses are priced for each shipment.

Flat-packing and wrapping

Ask for it flat-packed with the screws in one bag and the assembly guide, and for the wooden panels to be wrapped in foam. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Age, material and ease of assembly

Check the age printed on the box before ordering, as small parts and miniature furniture do not suit children under three. Wood is sturdier and lasts longer than thin plastic, so ask about the paint, the number of floors and whether the furniture is included. Ask for the assembly guide and the full set of screws, since some houses ship flat-packed and take an hour of work.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: shipping is by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and a flat-packed dollhouse takes far less volume than an assembled one. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and sea suits large wooden houses when time allows. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits a small flat-packed house, while for large wooden ones compare the freight cost with buying locally. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
