How dolls reach Syria

The parcel leaves by road and arrives after about two weeks, then is delivered in the main cities. At handover, open the box and inspect the eyes, hair, clothes and accessories, and photograph anything missing before you sign.

Volume and a reference price

A single doll is light, but doll boxes take up space, so the price follows carton volume. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) carries a reference price of 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded.

Packing

Ask for dolls to stay in their original boxes with paper padding, and for tiny accessories to go in a sealed bag. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Age and safety before choosing a doll

A soft cloth doll with no small parts suits infants, while fashion dolls and dolls with tiny accessories are for older children. Read the age printed on the box and look for the CE mark, and check the eyes, buttons and rooted hair, since these are what small children pull off and swallow. A strong plastic smell points to a poor material.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and cloth dolls compress a little while assembled dollhouses take a lot of room. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and sea suits large combined doll orders when time is not tight. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, which is reasonable for a few dolls since they weigh little. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
