Ordering dartboards from a Turkish shop

How dartboards reach Syria

The shipment rides overland for about two weeks and arrives in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. On receipt open the carton and check the board face, the number ring and that the darts are complete, and photograph any break before you sign.

Size and a reference price

A dartboard is round and does not fold, so it is billed by the size of its carton. The medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) is a reference 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, and a magnetic board is lighter and can join other games in one parcel.

Sisal or magnetic

Sisal takes steel-tip darts and stands heavy play, magnetic suits children, and an electronic board scores by itself but needs the right power supply. Syria may add charges by value and quantity, and clubs and cafes are quoted separately.

Board type and darts before ordering

A dartboard is chosen by who will use it: sisal with steel-tip darts for keen players, magnetic without sharp tips for homes with children, and electronic, which scores by itself with soft-tip darts. If the board has a plug, check its voltage, and make sure any wooden cabinet is counted in the dimensions.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the board arrives by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, with its edge guarded by cardboard corners and the darts kept in their case. Jordan: land suits Amman, Irbid and Aqaba, and it fits boards with wooden cabinets because they are cheaper overland. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits a magnetic board because it is light, while a sisal board with its cabinet is billed by its volume. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and clubs and cafes get a separate quote.
