How gloves reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Check the stitching, the padding and the closure strap, confirm the weight and the size against your order, and photograph any defect before you sign.

Light but bulky

A glove is light but swells with padding, so the price is usually counted by volume. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds several pairs, and for clubs the pairs are packed by size with each glove in a bag.

Glove weight

Glove weight in ounces is chosen by the trainee body weight and training type, heavier for sparring and lighter for bag work. Hand wraps under gloves protect joints, and choose durable leather or synthetic leather. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Ounce weight, size and use before ordering

A boxing glove is chosen by its weight, size and use: read in the description the weight in ounces (for bag work or for sparring with a partner), the hand size, the padding and material (leather or synthetic), and the closure type, hook-and-loop or laces, so the glove is not too small for your hand or too light for your need.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: gloves arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and they are fairly light but take up volume, so gather them with other sports gear in one parcel and check the stitching and closure on receipt. Jordan: land suits Amman and Irbid, and for boxing clubs ordering in quantity it is best to pack the pairs in one carton by size. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul gets gloves there within days, and check the ounce weight and the size before paying because exchanging across a border is costly. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and clubs and shops get a separate quote.
