Shipping Body Lotion from Turkey to Syria, Jordan, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia

What matters when shipping body lotion and moisturisers

Lotions and creams are fairly heavy for their size and cost follows weight; ask for taped caps and each item bagged, and combine them with skincare and natural soap.

Skin type and heat

Dry skin suits rich butters and creams, while sensitive skin suits formulas free of irritating additives. High heat can change some creams, so do not leave them in the car and store them somewhere cool after delivery.

Skin type and stated ingredients

In the body lotion listing look for the suitable skin type (dry, sensitive, normal) and the ingredients stated on the bottle, such as glycerin, shea butter or olive oil. If your skin is sensitive choose a version without strong fragrance, and test a small amount on the hand before full use.

Size, bottle and storage

Lotion is sold in bottles from 200 to 500 ml; the bigger bottle is cheaper per millilitre but heavier to ship. Prefer pump bottles because they rarely leak, check the production and expiry date, and store it away from direct heat.

Weight when shipping body lotion

A 500 ml lotion bottle weighs about half a kilo with its packaging, so five bottles come close to three kilograms. Work out the weight before ordering, and if the parcel is all cosmetics choose smaller bottles spread across lighter parcels, or combine them with light clothing to lower the cost per kilo.
