Turkey Shipping Calculator: Carton Volume, Weight and Real Cost

The calculator gives an estimate from destination, weight and size; the payable price is set when the packed parcel is measured at the consolidation centre. Do the carton arithmetic first: 60x40x40 cm is 0.096 m³ (about 0.1 m³) and 80x50x50 cm is 0.2 m³, and the charge follows the greater of actual and volumetric weight. Customs at the destination and the product price are separate lines.

Step 1: measure the closed box

Measure length, width and height of the closed box in centimetres and weigh it, not the products one by one. A pair of shoes in its box is often around 35x25x15 cm, which is 13,125 cm³, while the same shoes without the box take far less room, so ask whether boxes can be removed.

Step 2: turn size into volume and volumetric weight

Multiply the three sides in centimetres to get cm³, divide by 1,000,000 for m³. Six shoe boxes of 13,125 cm³ add up to 78,750 cm³, about 0.08 m³, which nearly fills the 0.096 m³ medium carton. A courier that uses a divisor of 5,000 turns 96,000 cm³ into 19.2 kg, above the 15 kg medium carton limit, so the carrier’s own divisor is what counts.

Step 3: compare quotes on the same basis

Ask each quote for the same destination city, the same packed size and weight and the same service. For Syria the published land rates are shown on the calculator page and run from $15 for a medium carton to the north up to $25 for a large carton to Damascus, customs excluded. For other countries the estimate is confirmed per shipment.

What the estimate does not include

The product price and the Buy for Me commission are separate lines in your order quote, and customs or taxes at the destination are set by the authority there. Parcels wait free for up to 30 days at the Turkish warehouse, which is the time to combine orders so that one carton replaces several half-empty ones.

Common questions

Is the calculator result the final price?

No, it is a planning estimate; the final price follows measurement of the packed parcel.

How do I turn a carton size into cubic metres?

Multiply length, width and height in centimetres and divide by 1,000,000; 60x40x40 cm is 0.096 m³.

Does the estimate include customs?

No, customs and taxes at the destination are separate and set by the authority there.
