Ordering from the store

Work out how many plants you have and their rough weight, then order the stand from the store to our warehouse with your box number. If the seller declines your card, send the link and we buy for you at an 8% commission on the stand price.

Checking at our warehouse

We assemble the stand part way to test its steadiness, make sure every screw is there, inspect the coating at the joints, then take it apart and photograph the pieces.

Weight and price

A metal stand is fairly heavy but comes apart so its volume shrinks, with a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars for a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg), customs excluded.

Use and care

Put the heaviest plant on the bottom tier, wipe water splashes off the stand, and tighten the screws every few months to keep it steady.

Load, height and material

Turkish plant stands include multi-tier metal shelves, wooden stands, wheeled platforms and hanging brackets for windows. Ask for the maximum load per tier, compare the height with the window spot, and see whether the metal is coated against damp and whether the legs have pads that protect the floor.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: stands are taken apart and stacked flat in a carton that reaches Syria overland in about two weeks. Jordan: Jordan is by road, with the parcel arriving in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and a dismantled stand takes little room. Garden shops receive a separate offer for quantities.
