Ordering from the store

Measure the table width and the number of diners, then order the mats from the store to our warehouse address with your box number. If the seller declines your card, send the link and we buy for you at an 8% commission on the set price.

Checking at our warehouse

We count the pieces against the store list, spread each mat to check even edges and no loose threads, inspect the embroidery, then photograph the set.

Weight and price

Placemats are light and fold flat so the parcel is priced by weight, with a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars for a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg), customs excluded.

Use and care

Wash cloth mats as their label says and iron them slightly damp, wipe plastic ones with a wet cloth, and do not set a hot pot straight onto bamboo.

Material, size and washing

Turkish placemats come in cloth, linen, water-resistant plastic and bamboo, some as six-person sets with a table runner. Measure your table width to pick a size that leaves a margin around the plate, see whether the mat is machine washable or wipe-only, and whether its back stops slipping.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: placemats are folded flat into a small carton that reaches Syria overland in about two weeks. Jordan: Jordan is by road, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and placemats are very light so the cost is small. Housewares shops receive a separate offer for quantities.
