Ordering from the store

Decide whether the bank is for a child or for decoration, then order it from the store to our warehouse address with your box number. If the store does not accept your card, send the link and we buy for you at an 8% commission on the item price.

Checking at our warehouse

We shake the bank gently to hear any broken piece, open and close the bottom stopper, test the counter on the electronic kind, then photograph it.

Weight and price

The bank is small and light so the parcel is priced by weight, with a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars for a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg), customs excluded, and ceramic needs extra padding.

Use and care

Open the bank instead of breaking it, take the batteries out of the electronic kind if unused for long, and wipe ceramic with a soft dry cloth.

Material, coin slot and size

Turkish piggy banks range from decorated ceramic and coloured plastic for children to metal box styles and electronic ones that count coins. Ask the seller whether there is a bottom stopper that opens without breaking, how wide the coin slot is, whether batteries are included in the electronic kind, and compare the stated height with the spot where it will sit.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: ceramic pieces are wrapped in bubble film and paper inside a carton that reaches Syria overland in about two weeks. Jordan: Jordan is by road, with the parcel delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and a small piggy bank is light so air stays cheap. Gift shops receive a separate offer for quantities.
