Ordering from the store

Measure the wall width and height, then order the piece from a handmade decor store that delivers in Turkey, writing our address and your box number. If your card is refused, we buy for you at an 8% commission on the price.

Checking at our warehouse

We spread the piece out, test the pull on the hanging ring and look for loose knots and beads, and a photo reaches you before shipping.

Weight and price

The piece is light but needs room in the medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg), at a reference estimate of 15 to 20 US dollars, customs excluded.

Use and care

Dust it with a soft brush and do not machine-wash it, and hang it away from damp. Decor shops should review the import terms in their own country.

Cord, knots and hanging

Macramé pieces in Turkey are sold as wall hangings, plant holders and small curtains, with braided cotton cord and wooden beads. Ask about the cord thickness and whether the colour is natural or dyed, look at how strong the knots are at the hanging point, and compare the width of the piece with the wall you will hang it on before ordering.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the hangings are rolled in soft paper and the knots are not folded, and they reach Syria overland in about two weeks. Jordan: Jordan is by road or sea, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul within 3 to 5 days, and the piece is light but takes room in the carton. Decor shops ordering several pieces in different sizes receive an itemised price.
