Buying the seat from the store

Order the seat from a store that ships within Turkey, writing our address and your box number. If your card does not go through, send the seat link and we buy it at an 8% commission on its price.

Checking label and harness

We look for the R44 or R129 approval label on the seat, try the harness buckles and the ISOFIX base if there is one, note any crack in the plastic and send you photos. The seat then ships overland to the four Syrian cities in roughly two weeks.

Size and price

The seat takes space rather than weight, so it is often treated as a large parcel rather than the medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg), with the carton reference price at 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded.

Safe use

Never buy a used seat or one that has been in an accident, and choose the group by your child’s weight. Shops ordering several seats should review the import terms in their own country.

Standard, group and fitting

Car seats in Turkey are sold for infants, older children and as booster seats, some fitted with the car belt and others with ISOFIX. Check the European safety approval on the label, the group matching your child’s weight and height, and that your car supports the fitting method.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the seats travel overland to the four Syrian cities after about two weeks, in their original box. Jordan: Jordan is by road or sea, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and the large size raises the cost compared with weight. Baby shops ordering several seats receive a special offer.
