Ordering the headboard from a furniture store

Checking the fabric before dispatch

We open the packaging at the warehouse, inspect the fabric, stitching and fixing holes and send you photos, then it travels overland to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and arrives in about two weeks.

Estimating size and price

A headboard is wide even when its weight is moderate, so it is charged by volumetric weight. Medium cartons (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) are priced at a reference 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded.

Fitting and packing

Ask for corner protectors and note your bed width before ordering to be sure the headboard fits. For showrooms buying several pieces, review your country’s import terms.

Material, width and fixing holes

Headboards are made of wood, iron or upholstered fabric such as velvet and linen, and the padding ranges from light to deep enough to lean on. Measure your bed with the mattress before ordering and check the spacing of the fixing holes if you will mount it on an existing frame, or pick a wall-hung model that does not need to match the bed.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the headboard travels overland to the four main Syrian cities and arrives in about two weeks, wrapped in a protective layer because fabric suffers from rubbing. Jordan: Jordan is by road or sea depending on the number of pieces, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul it arrives in 3 to 5 days, but its width makes that costly, so land or sea is preferable when possible. Furniture showrooms ordering several pieces receive a separate quote.
