Packing hangers for the trip

We take the packs out of oversized boxes where possible and stack them crosswise to save space, then they travel overland to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and reach you after about two weeks.

Volume matters more than weight

Hangers are light but bulky, so a medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) is priced at a reference 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, and may take two or three packs.

Breakage and warping

Wooden and plastic hangers snap easily under pressure, so we place them on top of the carton. For shops ordering large quantities, review your country’s import terms.

Material, shape and pack size

Hangers come in wood, metal, plastic or non-slip velvet, and velvet is thinner so it saves wardrobe space. There are special types for trousers, scarves and wide-shouldered shirts. They are usually sold in packs of ten to fifty, so count your wardrobes before ordering.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: hangers move overland to the four Syrian cities and arrive after about two weeks, packed tight in bundles so one carton holds many pieces. Jordan: Jordan goes by road or sea depending on volume, reaching Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, though their bulk outweighs their weight so they are usually charged by volume. Clothing shops fitting out a new branch with hundreds of pieces are offered separate terms.
