Trying the mixer before dispatch

We open the box at the warehouse and plug the mixer in for a moment to confirm the motor turns at every speed, then it goes overland to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and arrives in about two weeks.

Estimating the carton

A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) holds several mixers in their boxes, with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded.

Plug and voltage

The unit usually runs on 220 volts with a European plug, so check your socket and its voltage, and you may need an adapter. For commercial quantities, review your country’s import terms.

Power, speeds and attachments

Hand mixers range from roughly 200 to 500 watts: a mid-range motor handles cake batters and cream, while stiff dough needs more. Check the number of speeds, whether there is a turbo button, whether wire beaters and dough hooks are supplied, and whether they detach easily for washing. Read the voltage label before buying.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: the mixer goes overland to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama in about two weeks, with the beaters fixed inside its box so they do not shift on the road. Jordan: Jordan is by road or sea depending on the number of units, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: a flight from Istanbul brings it in 3 to 5 days, which can slip to a week in busy seasons. Pastry shops buying several mixers are given separate pricing.
