How gifts reach Syria

The parcel travels overland toward Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and needs about two weeks after preparation. Open the carton on receipt and check the engraving is intact well before the ceremony.

Price of the carton

A medium carton sized 60×40×40 cm and capped at 15 kg is quoted at a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, with customs on top. Combining several gifts in one carton lowers the cost.

Engraving and fragility

Pens, frames and medals need padding against scratches, and glass frames are heavier and more fragile. Check the wording before engraving, since an engraved item cannot be exchanged.

Engraving and timing before ordering

Graduation gifts include fine pens, wallets, frames, medals, plush bears and desk sets. Many are engraved with a name or the ceremony date, which adds days of preparation. Start from the ceremony date, add preparation and transit, and check the spelling of the name before you confirm the order.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and the gifts are light enough to share one carton. Jordan: land or sea depending on quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and the parcel should land at least a week before the ceremony.
