How gloves reach Syria

The parcel travels overland toward Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama and needs roughly two weeks. Count the pairs against your list on arrival, before handing them to the players.

Price of the carton

A medium carton sized 60×40×40 cm and capped at 15 kg is quoted at a reference of 15 to 20 US dollars depending on region, with customs on top. Packing gloves with other kit in one carton lowers the cost.

Latex and finger protection

Soft latex grips better but wears faster on artificial turf, so choose by the pitch surface. Finger-protection gloves are a little heavier, and the original box keeps a glove from being crushed.

Size and pitch before ordering

Gloves range from soft latex for natural grass to a tougher palm for artificial turf, with finger-protection models and kids’ sizes too. Measure across the palm without the thumb and compare it with each brand’s size chart, since the charts do not match. If you buy for a team, put all sizes in a single order.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and gloves are light enough for a small carton. Jordan: land or sea depending on quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and it is best to order weeks before the season starts.
