How wrapping supplies reach Syria

Parcels cross by road to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama in about two weeks. Open the carton at hand-over and check rolls and boxes for dents before you sign.

Price of the carton

The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded. Long rolls are charged on their volume, not their light weight.

Flat boxes and rolls

Order boxes unassembled so they take less volume, and lay rolls lengthwise in a long carton so they are not crushed. Keep ribbons away from damp so they do not crease.

Quantity and size before ordering

Gift-wrapping supplies include wrapping paper rolls, ribbons, paper bags and cardboard gift boxes. Count the gifts and size the largest item before you order, since long rolls need a longer carton. Rigid ready-made boxes take a lot of volume, while flat-packed ones that fold on use save space.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, with flat boxes arriving in a light carton. Jordan: land or sea depending on quantity, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. The Gulf: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, and since paper and ribbon weigh little, volume decides the price. Gift and event shops ordering quantities get a separate quote.
