How the bike reaches Syria

The bike travels by road and arrives in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama after roughly two weeks. Inspect the carton on receipt and photograph any dent in the frame or flywheel before signing.

Carton volume sets the price

A bike is heavy and bulky together, so the higher of actual and volumetric weight is charged. For comparison, the reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg runs from 15 to 20 dollars by region, while a bike is quoted separately.

Dismantling and protection

The bike is sent with pedals and saddle detached, the display is cushioned with foam, and the frame is strapped inside the carton. Gyms get a separate quote.

Resistance type and size before ordering

An exercise bike is defined by its resistance: magnetic models run quieter with less upkeep, heavy flywheel bikes suit long hard sessions, and folding ones fit a small room. Ask about the rider weight limit, the saddle range and whether assembly is needed, since the bike arrives partly disassembled and is measured by its large carton.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: overland in about two weeks to Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, with the bike priced by its large carton volume, not weight alone. Jordan: land or sea, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, with sea the better fit for a piece this size. The six Gulf states: by air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, though the cost is high for the bulk, so compare it with sea. Fitness centres buying several bikes get a separate quote.
