How the device reaches Syria

The parcel leaves by road and arrives after about two weeks, delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. At handover, switch the device on and check the screen for scratches, and photograph any crack before signing.

Size and a reference price

The device is small and barely changes the carton price. The reference for a 60×40×40 cm carton up to 15 kg is 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded.

Packing

Keep the device in its original box inside a padded carton, and place nothing heavy on top. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Warranty and bookstore before ordering

An e-reader is light, but its value lies in the screen and battery, so ask for packing that shields the screen from pressure. Check support for Arabic books and EPUB and PDF files, and that the linked bookstore works in the delivery country; ask about an international warranty, since a local Turkish one may not be honoured abroad.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, where the small device box joins a parcel of books. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and land suits one or two devices. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, best for a device with a built-in battery. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
