How bags reach Syria

The parcel travels by road and arrives after about two weeks, then is delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. At handover, open the carton, check the welds and the closure, and photograph any tear before signing.

Weight and a reference price

A dry bag is very light, so the price follows carton volume rather than weight. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) carries a reference price of 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded.

Packing

Fold the bags flat and put them in one large bag with the air pressed out. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Capacity and closure before buying

Pick the capacity by use: five litres for a phone and wallet and twenty litres or more for clothes. Check the roll-top closure, the weld quality and the shoulder strap. Do not rely on a bag under heavy water unless it is clearly rated as submersible, since many only handle splashes.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and dry bags are light and fold small. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and sea suits large orders of bags because they weigh little. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, which fits well since a dry bag adds little weight. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
