How furniture reaches Syria

The parcel leaves by road and arrives after about two weeks, delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. At handover, count the boxes against the assembly sheet, inspect the panels and drawers, and record any breakage in writing and in photos before signing.

Volume and a reference price

A dresser is heavy and large, so the price follows volume and weight together and it may need more than one carton. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) carries a reference of 15 to 20 dollars by region, customs excluded, and large furniture is quoted separately.

Packing and anchoring

Ask for corner protection and a rigid board between boxes, and keep the wall screws. Bulk orders are quoted separately.

Room measurements and anchoring before ordering

Measure the wall width and height and the space needed to open the drawers fully, and remember the width of the doorway and stairs the pieces must pass through. Order the flat-pack version and check that the assembly sheet and wall screws are included, since a dresser can tip over in a child’s room if it is not anchored.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: by land with delivery after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, where flat-pack pieces take less volume than assembled ones. Jordan: by land or sea depending on the shipment, delivered in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba, and sea is a good option for heavy furniture if you accept a longer time. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul in 3 to 5 days, but air raises the cost of heavy furniture, so ask for a quote first. Bulk orders get a separate quote in each country.
