Turkish brands are known for granite and stainless cookware sets, often cheaper in Turkey, especially in sales, but their weight makes shipping a large part of the cost, so compare the final price with commission and shipping against the price at home. Ask for glass lids to be protected from breakage.

Metal and heat source

Cookware is made from stainless steel, aluminium and coated iron, and the choice depends on your hob: induction needs a magnetic metal base. Check in the description that the set suits your hob before ordering.

A full set or chosen pieces

A full set is cheaper per piece but includes pieces you may not use. Write down the pots you actually cook with and compare the set with buying single pieces.

Weight and packing

Metal pots are heavy and are charged on actual weight. Ask for lids to be packed separately with paper between them, and for pots to nest inside one another to cut volume without scratching surfaces.

A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) is priced at a reference 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded. Jordan — cookware: the route is by land (about two weeks) or by sea (one to two months) depending on the shipment, with delivery in Amman, Irbid, Zarqa and Aqaba. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman — cookware: the route is by air from Istanbul in about 3 to 5 days, up to a week. Delivery in Kuwait: Kuwait City, Hawalli, Farwaniya and Jahra; in Saudi Arabia: Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Makkah; in the UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman; in Qatar: Doha, Al Wakrah, Al Rayyan and Al Khor; in Bahrain: Manama, Muharraq, Riffa and Isa Town; in Oman: Muscat, Sohar, Salalah and Nizwa. Charges on cookware may apply in each country by value and quantity, and commercial quantities get a separate quote.
