How cooker hoods reach Syria

The shipment crosses by land in about two weeks and arrives in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. On receipt open the carton and check the glass or steel front for scratches and dents, confirm the filters and the installation leaflet are inside, and photograph any break before signing.

Size and a reference price

A hood is fairly light but its carton is large. The medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) has a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, and long or island hoods are charged on their dimensions and weight.

Width and venting

Choose a width equal to the hob or slightly wider, and check whether you have an outside vent or need a carbon filter. Check the plug and voltage in your country. Charges may be applied in Syria by value and quantity, and restaurant and shop orders are priced separately.

Width and venting before ordering

A hood is chosen by hob width and by how it vents: wall, island and under-cabinet models each install differently, and if you have no outside vent pick a recirculating model with a carbon filter. Measure the gap between hob and hood and check the plug and voltage before you order.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: hoods arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, shipped in the original box with reinforced corners to protect a glass or steel front from scratches. Jordan: land suits Amman, Irbid and Aqaba, and sea suits several hoods or restaurant and shop orders. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits only a single small hood, since a hood is bulky and its volumetric weight raises the cost, and check the voltage and plug in your country. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and restaurants and shops get a separate quote.
