Ordering a cezve from a Turkish store
Decide the metal, the capacity and the stove you will use, then ask the Turkish store to deliver to our warehouse under your name and box number. If your payment is not accepted, use Buy for Me and send the links, and we hold the order for a month without storage fees.
How cezves reach Syria
The shipment moves overland for roughly two weeks and reaches Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. On opening, check the handle, the inner lining and the rims, and photograph any dent before signing.
Light weight and grouping
A cezve is light, so several pieces fit with coffee and cups in one carton, and the medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) is priced for reference between 15 and 20 US dollars by region, customs not included. Grouping in one parcel costs less than shipping each piece alone.
Caring for copper and steel
Hammered copper is washed by hand and dried at once, stainless steel washes more easily, and both need good wrapping so the rims do not dent. Charges may be applied in Syria by value and quantity, and shop orders are priced separately.
Metal and size before ordering
A cezve is chosen by its metal and capacity: hammered copper lined with tin needs special care, stainless steel is easier to clean, a capacity for one, two or four cups sets the right size, and make sure the handle is sturdy and the base suits your stove before you order.
Transit, delivery and price by country
Syria: cezves arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and being light they can be grouped with coffee in one parcel. Jordan: land suits Amman, Irbid and Aqaba, and small quantities need no sea freight. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits one pot or a small set, and hammered copper should be wrapped well so the rims do not dent. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and shops get a separate quote.
