How candle holders reach Syria

The shipment moves overland for roughly two weeks and reaches Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. When you open the parcel, go through the glass, the edges and the base piece by piece, and take a photo of any break before signing for it.

Fragility, packing and price

Metal withstands the trip while glass needs dividers and padding around each piece. The medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) is priced for reference between 15 and 20 US dollars by region, customs not included, and it fits a small well-protected set, so book early before the occasion.

Size and material when choosing

Check that the holder opening suits the thickness of the candles you use, since a tall thin candle needs a narrow opening. Metal suits repeated use, and glass gives a softer light but needs care. Charges may be applied in Syria by value and quantity, and shop orders are priced separately.

Diameter and material before ordering

A candle holder is chosen by its opening diameter and material: measure the diameter of the candle you will use, prefer metal for repeated occasions and glass for soft lighting, check the base stability and the wall thickness of glass, and ask for extra packing for fragile pieces with dividers between them.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: candle holders arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and the glass ones are fragile, so they need dividers and padding between pieces. Jordan: the shorter overland trip suits Amman, Irbid and Aqaba with less shaking for fragile pieces, and sea is the option for bulk. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul serves near occasions and a few pieces, while bulk is priced by volumetric weight, so weigh the routes against each other. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and shops get a separate quote.
