Ordering building blocks from a Turkish store

Read the piece count and size, the suitable age and whether they are compatible or magnetic. Enter the receiving-centre address with your box number at checkout, and if the store rejects your card send the links with Buy for Me, and the parcel stays free at the warehouse for 30 days.

How the blocks reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Count the pieces against the stated number, check the edges, and photograph any crushed box before you sign.

Large light boxes

The box is large for its weight, so shipping is often charged by volume. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds only a few boxes, so ask for the price by the size and weight of the parcel.

Age and piece size

Large blocks suit under-threes, as small pieces are a choking risk, while compatible small bricks and magnetic tiles are for older kids. Check compatibility with your child existing sets and the CE safety mark. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Pieces, age and compatibility before ordering

Building blocks are chosen by piece size and the child’s age: read in the description the piece count and whether they are large for under-threes or small compatible or magnetic ones, whether the plastic is safe with no sharp edges, and ask for a photo of a piece beside a hand before paying.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: blocks arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and their cardboard boxes get crushed, so ask for extra packing on the boxes and check that all pieces are there on receipt. Jordan: land suits Amman and Irbid, and they are light for their size, so combine them with other toys in one parcel. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul may be counted by volumetric weight for large boxes, so compare sea freight if you are not in a hurry. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and shops get a separate quote.
