Ordering bedding sets from a Turkish store

Read the number of pieces, the bed size, the fabric and the thread count in the description, and check whether the sheet is fitted. Enter the receiving-centre address with your box number at checkout, and if the store rejects your card send the links with Buy for Me, and the parcel stays free at the warehouse for 30 days.

How bedding sets reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Open the parcel on receipt, count the pieces and match the colours to the photos, and if a piece is missing photograph it before you sign.

Medium volume, so count cartons

A set takes more volume than its weight suggests, so it is usually charged on volume. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds about three to five sets depending on the fabric, and pillows or bedspreads from the same store can be added.

Bed size and fabric

Bed and bedding sizes vary between markets, so measure your bed and compare it with the set’s size chart on the store page: single, double or king. Read the fabric and cotton content, since cotton ranforce and cotton sateen are among the most requested from Turkish brands. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Pieces, size and fabric before ordering

A bedding set is compared by its pieces and size: read in the description whether it includes a duvet cover, a fitted sheet and pillowcases, how many pieces there are, which bed size it fits, the fabric (cotton, ranforce, satin or polyester) and thread count, whether it is machine washable and whether the colour is fast.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: bedding sets arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, packed in sealed bags, so on receipt check that the number of pieces matches the order and the colours match the photos. Jordan: land or sea suits several sets for Amman and Irbid, and for shops ordering a quantity sea is preferable because sets are bulky. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits one or two sets, and a bedspread or pillows from the same store can be added to spread the weight cost. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and hotels and furnishing shops ordering in bulk get a separate quote.
