Ordering bed skirts from a Turkish store

Read the bed size, the drop length, the deck panel depth and the fabric in the description, and compare them with your own bed. Enter the receiving-centre address with your box number at checkout, and if the store rejects your card send the links with Buy for Me, and the parcel stays free at the warehouse for 30 days.

How bed skirts reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Open the carton on receipt, spread the skirt and check the drop length and colour, and if it is creased iron it at a heat suited to the fabric.

Light, so they suit small batches

A bed skirt is light and folds small, so cost does not grow much. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds dozens of pieces, and it can be combined with bedspread sets from the same store.

Size and drop

Measure the base width and length, then the drop from the top of the base to the floor, as that height decides the right skirt. Elastic types wrap the base without lifting the mattress. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Size, drop length and fabric before ordering

A bed skirt is bought by size: read in the description the bed size it fits and the drop length in centimetres, the depth of the deck panel that sits between the mattress and the base, the fabric type, whether it is machine washable and whether it needs ironing. Measure your bed height from the mattress to the floor before choosing.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: bed skirts arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, light fabric folded into a small carton, and on receipt check that the size matches the order. Jordan: land or sea suits several pieces for Amman and Irbid, and for tall beds choose a longer drop before ordering. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits them because they are light, and they are often ordered with a bedspread or linen set from the same store to save on shipping cost. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and hotels ordering in bulk get a separate quote.
