Ordering bathroom cabinets from a Turkish store

Read the material and its moisture resistance, the dimensions in centimetres, whether it mounts on the wall and whether it arrives flat-packed in the description, and enter the receiving-centre address with your box number at checkout. If the store rejects your card, send the links with Buy for Me, and the parcel stays free at the warehouse for 30 days.

How bathroom cabinets reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Cabinets mostly arrive flat-packed in a flat carton, so on receipt check that the panels and the screw bag are complete.

Bulky, so charged on volume

Cabinets are large flat pieces, so the parcel is charged on the greater of weight and volume. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds a small wall cabinet, while large floor cabinets need a separate quote.

Sizes and moisture resistance

Measure the wall width, basin position and water outlet before ordering, as vanity units come in fixed widths. Choose moisture-resistant or well-coated boards, and check whether the basin and tap are included or sold separately. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Material, moisture resistance and assembly before ordering

A bathroom cabinet faces high humidity, so read its material in the description: water-treated MDF, plastic, aluminium or painted wood, and whether the back is protected from moisture. Check the dimensions in centimetres, whether it mounts on the wall or stands on the floor, and whether it arrives flat-packed and needs assembly.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: cabinets arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and ship flat-packed in a flat carton to cut volume, so keep the screw bag. Jordan: land or sea freight is best because these are bulky pieces, and corner protection with cardboard avoids scratches. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air is costly for a large cabinet because the parcel is charged on the greater of weight and volume, and only small wall cabinets suit air. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and projects and hotels ordering in bulk get a separate quote.
