How bath toys reach Syria

They travel by land for about two weeks after the shipment leaves and are delivered in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama. Toys with batteries are packed in a separate bag, and you track the parcel from your account.

Light toys ship with other things

Bath toys add almost no weight, so it is best to add them to a larger order of baby supplies. A medium carton (60×40×40 cm, up to 15 kg) with a reference price of 15 to 20 US dollars by region, customs excluded, holds dozens of pieces, so they only merit their own parcel as a commercial quantity.

Age and hygiene

Toys with a squirt hole trap water and can grow mould inside, so choose fully sealed toys or ones that open for cleaning. Check the age range on the box and avoid small parts for children under three, and dry the toys after every bath. Charges may apply in Syria by value and quantity, and commercial quantities need a separate quote.

Material and age before ordering

Bath toys come in several kinds: rubber ducks and animals that float, water-squirt toys, battery-powered toys, and books and wall-sticking boards. Read the age range and material in the description, whether the piece has a hole that lets water in and is hard to dry, and whether the batteries sit in a tightly sealed compartment.

Transit, delivery and price by country

Syria: bath toys arrive by land after about two weeks in Damascus, Aleppo, Homs and Hama, and they are packed in a bag with other baby supplies. Jordan: land or sea freight suits large toy sets, which join bathing and feeding supplies in one order. Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman: air from Istanbul suits these light pieces, which are mostly charged on weight, but note that included batteries may restrict air freight. Charges may apply in each country by value and quantity, and children’s shops ordering in bulk get a separate quote.
