Turkish Tea and Spices for Saudi Arabia

What to choose for shipping

Choose tea in factory-sealed tins or bags and spices in closed packs with a clear net weight and expiry date. Loose spices sold by weight in markets are harder to check for date and packing and suit shipping less well.

Stopping smells spreading in the parcel

Spices and tea can pass their smell to clothing and fabrics packed in the same box. Ask for an extra sealed bag, separation from clothing inside the parcel, or a small separate box if the quantity is large.

Humidity and weight

Humidity affects the quality of tea and spices, so keep packs closed until use. Metal tins are heavier than bags, and air shipping is charged on the higher of actual and volumetric weight, so compare packs before buying.

Requirements to check before buying

Food products are regulated on import, and requirements can vary with product type and quantity. Ask whether food products are accepted for shipping before paying, order personal quantities and check current import requirements with the SFDA and ZATCA.
