Can I put honey with clothes in one parcel?

Yes if the jar is in a sealed bag, a rigid box and padding; otherwise ship it separately.

How do I compare two jars?

Divide the price by the net weight to get the price per 100 g.

Which honey leaks most?

Comb honey, so ask for a sealed plastic tub or choose strained honey.

Turkish Honey for Bahrain: Adding It to Other Orders and Price per 100 g

Honey is a food, so ask before paying whether the route to Bahrain accepts it and check what Bahrain Customs Affairs publishes. Most buyers add honey to a parcel with clothes or shoes, so isolate it in a sealed bag and a rigid box, and compare jars by price per 100 g rather than price per jar.

Should honey go in a clothes parcel?

Combining purchases lowers the shipping cost, but one broken jar ruins the fabric. Put each jar in a sealed bag and then a small carton, separate it from clothing with padding, or ship it as its own parcel if the pieces are white or pale.

Compare by price per 100 g

Turkish honey prices vary widely: a 250 g jar of flower honey differs from an 850 g jar of pine honey. Divide the price by the net weight (Net miktar) to get the price per 100 g, then compare stores and sizes on that, not on the look of the packaging.

Comb honey leaks more easily

Comb honey (Petek bal) holds wax pieces inside the glass and can seep at the rim. If you want it for Bahrain, ask for a sealed plastic tub, or choose strained honey (Süzme bal), which pours easily but is simpler to close and pack.

What to ask before paying

Ask the forwarder in writing whether food is accepted to Bahrain and check the current entry rules with Bahrain Customs Affairs. Order a personal quantity and keep the invoice and a true description of the contents.
