Why are shoes charged more than they weigh?

The box is large for its weight, and air freight charges the greater of actual and dimensional weight.

Can I combine Marjin with other stores in one parcel?

Yes, the order can be consolidated with Hotiç, FLO or other purchases at the receiving address.

Which authority sets the import rules?

ZATCA publishes the import and clearance requirements; check them for the goods you order.

Marjin Türkiye to Saudi Arabia: Air Freight for Shoes and Handbags

Marjin orders for Saudi Arabia fly from Istanbul on regular flights, so the bill follows the greater of actual and dimensional weight, and shoeboxes are where it goes wrong. A shoebox of 35×25×15 cm is 13,125 cm³, which counts as about 2.6 kg at a 5,000 divisor while the pair may weigh 0.9 kg, so ask for the boxes to be removed and the pairs bagged. Send the item link, size, colour and a backup size through Buy for Me.

Reading the Marjin page

Ayakkabı is shoes, Sandalet sandals, Babet flats, Topuklu heels, Bot boots, Çanta bag and Terlik slippers. Hakiki deri means genuine leather, Suni deri synthetic and Tekstil fabric. Numara is the size, so check the size chart and name a second size in case the first is out.

Why the box can triple the chargeable weight

At a divisor of 5,000, 13,125 cm³ becomes 2.6 kg per boxed pair. Four boxed pairs count as about 10.5 kg although they weigh around 4 kg, while the same four pairs in dust bags fit a much smaller space. Compare the quote with and without boxes and keep one box only for a gift pair.

Picks that suit hot months, and handbags

Saudi summers are hot, so mesh and fabric uppers, open sandals and light synthetic soles are easier to wear than lined leather boots. Handbags pack flat once the stuffing paper is removed, which makes them a cheap addition to a shoe parcel. Read the lining and strap details in the description before choosing a colour.

Delivery and paperwork in Saudi Arabia

The parcel is checked in Türkiye, packed and sent on the next scheduled flight, with home delivery in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam. Enter the recipient name and mobile number exactly and have your national address ready if the carrier asks. ZATCA publishes the import and clearance rules, so keep the store invoice with a correct description and value. MarkaShip is independent and not affiliated with Marjin.
