What you find at Civil

Civil is a Turkish store for babies and children, offering kids and baby clothing and shoes, mother-and-baby products such as feeding and care items, and some toys, strollers and car seats.

Choosing a child’s size

Baby sizes are usually by months and kids sizes by years, so measure the child’s height in centimeters, compare it with the product chart, leave growth room, and name a backup size. Turkish words on the page: Bebek for baby, Kız Çocuk for girl, Erkek Çocuk for boy, Yaş for age in years, Ay for months, Boy for height in centimetres, Tulum for a one-piece and Takım for a set. Use the height column in the item table, as age alone is approximate.

Formula, food and care products

Baby formula and food have import conditions in the destination country, and liquid care products may be restricted in shipping, so ask about each item before buying and request enough shelf life.

Costing bulky baby items

Strollers, car seats and cots are bulky, so shipping is charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight and can exceed the price difference. Car seats may face local safety standards; check with your importer.
