Is MarkaShip affiliated with Bellona?

No. It is an independent buying and shipping service; the brand sets stock, prices and sale and return terms.

What should I send first when asking about a Bellona set?

The set name, the list of included pieces and the parcel dimensions, so a shipping estimate can be made before paying.

Do Bellona pieces arrive assembled?

They may arrive flat-packed in several parcels; ask about assembly and parcel count before buying, as assembly service in Türkiye does not travel with them.

What Bellona sells

Bellona is a Turkish furniture brand: bedroom, living and dining sets, sofas and chairs, mattresses and bed bases, garden furniture, and kids and youth rooms, plus home textiles. Turkish designs and sets may not be available in your country, but the decision starts with the size of the piece, not its photo. Turkish terms on the page: Yatak odası is a bedroom set, Koltuk takımı a sofa set, Yemek odası a dining set, Baza a bed base and Yatak a mattress.

What to ask for before buying

Ask for the number of parcels per piece, each parcel’s dimensions and weight, the frame and fabric material, and whether it arrives flat-packed and needs assembly. Measure doorways, corridors and lifts at home, and give the set name, fabric color and mattress size in centimeters exactly as on the page. Write down the width of your narrowest door and lift, then compare it with the longest parcel on the page; a boxed wardrobe panel or headboard can be longer than a lift.

Choosing a mattress and the right pieces

Mattresses come in different firmness levels and builds such as pocket springs, foam and latex, so read the firmness, height and size in centimeters on the page and compare with your bed. For sets, read which pieces are included, as some are sold piece by piece. Mattress sizes are written in centimetres such as 160×200; confirm your bed base takes the same size before ordering, since sizes differ between countries.

Consolidating and shipping

Large furniture and mattresses are heavy and bulky, so shipping can exceed the price difference, charged on the greater of actual and dimensional weight. Ask for a detailed estimate per parcel before paying, compare it with local prices, and start with smaller pieces if you want to test. Ask for the total volume, meaning length × width × height of each parcel added up in cubic metres; that number, more than the sofa price, decides the shipping bill.
